Resolution Naming a Private Road for Tassone Realty
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on February 22, 2010.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being called,
the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Christopher J. Colsey
Councilmembers - William H. Beale
Vincent F. Bettina (arrived at 7:01 PM)
Ismay Czarniecki
Joseph P. Paoloni
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by Councilman
Beale.
WHEREAS, Tassone Realty, located at 1056-1062 US State Route 9, in the Town of Wappinger,
has proposed a private road for a mixed used property for the purpose of accommodating emergency
responders; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has proposed the name of "Tassone Court" for this private road; and
WHEREAS, Jim Tompkins, Program Assistant for Dutchess County Emergency Response, has
determined that there are no conflicts with the name "Tassone Court", as established through a memo
dated February 9, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Fire Prevention Bureau has determined that there are no
conflicts with the name "Tassone Court", as established through a memo dated February 9, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board authorizes formally naming the
private road located at 1056-1062 US State Route 9, in the Town of Wappinger, as "Tassone Court."
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

Grazziano Tassone, owner of property located at 1056-1062 Route 9, has proposed a Private
Road name for this property that houses several structures, both Commercial and Residential.
Emergency responses to this location over the years has been confusing for First Responders
due to the numbering as a Route 9 address.
Mr. Tassone has proposed the complex to be renamed as a Private Road.
The Name will be
TASSONE CT.
The Dutchess 911 addressing unit has approved these names per attached memo . In addition
please find a letter from Mr. Tassone authorizing this change.
I have also reviewed this proposed name and find no conflicts with in the Town.
Please place the above on the next available Town Board agenda for Town Board approval.
A copy of the resolution must be forwarded to Dutchess 911 addressing unit.
