MASTERSON, TOWN CLERK TOWN OF WAPPINGER HK;HWA1' SUPERINTENDENT Graham Foster To: Town Board From: Graham Foster Date: 4/26/10 Re: Brush Pick-up HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT MEMO TOWN BOARD William 11. Beale Vincent Bettina Ismav Czarniecki Joseph 1'. Paoloni TOWN CLERK Chris Masterson We are approximately half way through our brush pick-up which is a result of our 2/25- 2/26 snowstorm. To date we have dedicated more than 3,250 man hours to this project. We have collected more than 15,000 yards of brush which we are currently grinding into first grind mulch with a PO for $28,000. I estimate we will need an additional $30,000 for another PO to complete all the grinding. Please note with the exception of road sweeping, no Highway work is being done and out- entire ur entire workforce is working on brush. The additional $30,000 is critical for the completion of this project. v Graham Foster
