Resolution Authorizing the Acceptance of the Correspondence Log
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 24,
2010.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Christopher J. Colsey
Councilmembers - William H. Beale (arrived at 6:36 PM)
Vincent F. Bettina
Ismay Czarniecki (arrived at 6:23 PM)
Joseph P. Paoloni (arrived at 6:48 PM)
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by
Councilwoman Czarniecki.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the letters and communications
itemized on the attached Correspondence Log are hereby accepted and placed on file in the
Office of the Town Clerk.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

Last week, EMS was dispatched to a residence on your street and had a difficult time locating the residence.
The Fire Code of New York State requires that every structure have a street number posted so that Fire,EMS
and Police may find your house in need of an emergency.
Please check your house to make sure that your number is properly posted pursuant to the FCNYS section
505.
The Fre Code requirement is listed below.
PREMISES IDENTIFICATION
§F505.1 Address numbers. New and existing buildings shall have approved address numbers,
building numbers or approved building Identification placed in a position that is plainly legible
and visible from the street or road fronting the property. These numbers shall contrast with their
background. Address numbers shall be Arabic numerals or alphabet letters. Numbers shall be a
minimum of 4 inches (102 mm) high with a minimum stroke width of 0.5 inch (12.7 mm).
If your residence is not posted please posted the number within ten (10) from the date on this memo.
