A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held on October 23, 1989, at Roy C. Ketcham High School Auditorium,
Myers Corners Road, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York.
Supervisor Paino opened the Meeting at 10:15 P.M.
Present:
Irene Paino, Supervisor
Vincent Farina, Councilman
David Reis, Councilman
Constance Smith, Councilwoman
Robert Valdati, Councilman
Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk
Others Present:
Thomas Wood, Attorney
This meeting was set at the September 18th Regular Town Board
Meeting for October 23, 1989 at 8:00 P.M. following the Public
Hearing on the Zoning Ordinance Amendments for the sole purpose
of considering approval of these Amendments.
MRS. PAINO moved that the Resolution to accept a Negative Declaration
in the matter of the Zoning Ordinance Amendments be tabled until the
November 6th, 1989 Regular Meeting.
Seconded by Mrs. Smith
Motion Unanimously Carried
MRS. PAINO moved to table consideration of the Zoning Ordinance
Amendments pending further revisions followed by reintroduction of
the Amendments and Public Hearing to be set at the November 6th,
1989 meeting.

MRS. PAINO moved to adopt the Preliminary Budget of 1990 for the
Town of Wappinger.
Seconded by Mr. Valdati
Motion Unanimously Carried
MRS. PAINO moved to set the Public Hearing on the Preliminary Budget
for 1990 on Thursday, November 2, 1989, at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush
Road, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, to hear all ( 7P.M.)
interested persons.
Seconded by Mr. Farina

A request was received from Herbert Levenson, Clerk to the Planning
Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals, for permission for members
of both Boards to attend the Dutchess County Planning Federation
Annual Dinner at a cost of $20.00 per person.
MR. VALDATI moved to grant permission to Herbert Levenson, William
Parsons and Chris Simonetty to attend the dinner as requested and
the cost involved will be a Town charge.
Seconded by Mrs. Paino
Motion Unanimously Carried
There was no other business to come before the Board.
MRS. PAINO moved to close the Special Meeting, seconded by Mrs.
Smith and unanimously carried.
The Meeting closed at 10:20 P.M.

Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Wappinger.
Supervisor Paino opened the Hearing at 7:45 P.M.
