A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held.on October 12, 1989, at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road,
Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York.
Supervisor Paino opened the meeting at 7:22 P.M.
Present:
Irene Paino, Supervisor
Vincent Farina, Councilman
David Reis, Councilman
Constance Smith, Councilwoman
Robert Valdati, Councilman
Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk
Notice of this meeting was sent to all Board Members on October 6,
1989 calling the meeting for October 12, 1989 at 7:15 P.M. Notice
was also sent to the news media and posted on the Town Clerk's Bulletin
Board on the same day. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the
approval of an expenditure of $45,000 from Federal Revenue Sharing
Funds for projects outlined by the Grinnell Library in the Village
of Wappinger Falls.
MRS. PAINO moved to authorize the expenditure of $45,000 from excess
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds allotted to the Town of Wappinger, to
be paid to the Grinnell Library to support projects in the Town which
will benefit the community.
Seconded by Mr. Valdati
Motion Unanimously Carried
There was no other business to come before the Board.
MRS. PAINO moved to close the Special Meeting, seconded by Mr. Reis
and unanimously carried.
The meeting closed at 7:23 P.M.
