A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held on October 27, 1988 at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road,
Town of Wappinger Dutchess County, New York.
Deputy Supervisor opened the meeting at 7:35 P.M.
Present:
David Reis, Deputy Supervisor
Vincent Farina, Councilman
Constance Smith, Councilwoman
Robert Valdati, Councilman
Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk
Absent:
Irene Paino, Supervisor (due to illness)
Mr. Reis added that Mrs. Paino would try to make it later for a
scheduled work shop.
All joined in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Notices were sent to the Town Board on October 24, 1988, calling said
meeting for October 27, 1988 at 7:15 P.M. Notices were also sent to
the News Media on that day and posted on the Town Clerk's Bulletin
Board maintained by her at the Town Hall. The meeting was called for
two purposes; the first was to set a salary for Dorothy Schwartz,
Secretary to the Building Inspector, and secondly to set a Public
Hearing date for the 1989 Budget.
MR. REIS moved that the salary for Dorothy Schwartz, as Secretary
for the Building Inspector will be $11,500.00, retroactive to
May 2, 1988.
Seconded by Mrs. Smith
Motion Unanimously Carried
MR. REIS moved to set a Public Hearing on the Preliminary Budget
for 1989 on November 10, 1988 at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall,
20 Middlebush Road, Town of Wappinger, New York.
Seconded by Mrs. Smith
Motion Unanimously Carried
MR. FARINA moved to close the Special Meeting, seconded by Mr. Reis
and unanimously carried.
The meeting closed at 7:45 P.M.
