1986-09-25 PHA Public Hearing was held by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger on September 25, 1986 at the Town Hall, Middlebush Road, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, on a Proposed Sewer Improvement in the Town of Wappinger, Pursuant to the Provisions of Article 12-c of Town Law. Supervisor Paino opened the Hearing at 7:07 P.M. Present: Irene Paino, Supervisor Joseph Bracone, Councilman Vincent Farina, Councilman David Reis, Councilman Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk Absent: June Visconti, Councilwoman Others Present: Joseph E. Paggi, Jr., Engineer Michael Tremper, Camo Pollution Control The Town Clerk offered for the record the Affidavits of Posting and Publication duly signed and notarized. (These Affidavits are attached hereto and made part thereof of the Minutes of this Hearing). It was explained that the bonding monies would be used for the detection and location of inflow and infiltration of the Wappinger Sewer Improvement Area No. 1 and the establishment of a proposed Sewer Improvement Area; the maximum amount proposed to be expended for this improvement is $65,500. Supervisor Paino asked if there were any questions or comments from those present. There were no comments either for or against the expenditure of monies for this project. MR. It was explained that the improvements represented the purchase and installation of sand filters and the detection and location of leaks throughout the sewer systems; the estimated cost for Rockingham Farms Sewer District, $181,000; for Wildwood Sewer District, $26,000; for Midpoint Sewer District, $71,000, and Fleetwood Sewer District, $21,000. Supervisor Paino asked for comments or questions on the proposed bonding. There were no comments for or against the proposed improvements to the four sewer districts. MR.
