Town Clerk Chris Masterson offered for the record the affidavits of posting and publication (These affidavits are attached hereto and made part thereof the Minutes of the Meeting). Supervisor Ruggiero asked if there were any comments from the Public or from the Town Board. There were no comments or questions. Councilwoman McCarthy made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Councilman Valdati seconded the motion. After a unanimous vote, the Public Hearing was closed at 7:43 PM. Resolutions RESOLUTION: 2006-235 Resolution Authorizing Public Hearing to Hear Objections to the Assessment Rolls and Proposed Budgets for Special Improvement Districts or Special Improvement Areas for Calendar Year 2007 WHEREAS, the Town Board has completed the assessment rolls and has prepared proposed budgets for all Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvement Areas in the Town of Wappinger; and WHEREAS, the Town Board hereby schedules and orders a Public Hearing for the purposes of hearing and considering any objections which may be made to the assessment rolls for all Special Improvement Districts and/or Special Improvement Areas within the Town, any objections to the proposed benefit assessments to be levied in the calendar year 2007 against the properties within said Special Improvement Districts or Special Improvement Areas as well as any objections to the proposed budgets for the calendar year 2007 and the Quarterly Operation and maintenance Charges to be billed to those properties connected to said Special Improvement Districts and/or Special Improvement Areas; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. The Town Board hereby confirms that it has completed the assessment rolls for the Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvement Areas and the proposed budgets for all Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvement Areas in the Town of Wappinger. 3. Motion to set Hearing Councilwoman McCarthy made a motion to set a Hearing to discuss the topic of a Benefit Unit Assessment Grievance for Monday, November 13th, 2006, at 7:30 PM. Councilman Valdati seconded the motion and it passed via a unanimous vote. V. New Business 1. Councilman Bettina New Business Councilman Bettina asked that the record reflect the fact that he will be out of state during the next week for a personal family matter. He will be leaving on Monday, November 13th, and returning on the 17th of November. VI. Committee of the Whole 1. Motion To: go into Committee of the Whole at 7:46 PM.
