Resolution Authorizing Town Supervisor to Solicit Quotes for Pest Control Services
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on December 13, 2010.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being called,
the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Christopher J. Colsey
Councilmembers - William H. Beale (Arrived 7:02 PM)
Vincent F. Bettina
Ismay Czarniecki
Joseph P. Paoloni
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilman
Bettina.
WHEREAS, the Town Supervisor discovered that a contract for ongoing pest control services
had not been renewed since April 29, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board believes it to be in the best interests of the Town of Wappinger to
routinely seek competitive quotes and bids for various services; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board hereby resolves to seek competitive quotes in accordance with the
Town Procurement Policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Town Supervisor and Town Clerk to solicit
competitive quotes from licensed pest control firms in accordance with the Town
Procurement Policy for consideration by the Town Board.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
