1983-10-04 SPMA Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held on October 4th, 1983, at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Village of Wappingers Falls, Dutchess County, New York. Supervisor Diehl opened the meeting at 3:35 P.M. Present: Louis Diehl, Supervisor Nicholas Johnson, Councilman Gerard McCluskey, Councilman Bernice Mills, Councilwoman Frank Versace, Councilman Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk This meeting had been duly called at the regular Town Board meeting of September 12th, 1983, for the purpose of allowing the Town Clerk to forward the Tentative Budget of 1984 to the Town_Board. The Town Clerk informed the Town Board that she had received the Tentative Budget of 1984 from the Comptroller's Office on September 30th, 1983, and as required by Town Law, she was now presenting it to the Town Board. Mrs. Mills commented that, as Chairman of the Budget Committee, she would like to set up work shop sessions as soon as possible with department heads and recommended that they start in the morning when they would be -available and the Comptroller would be on hand if there were questions on the budget. The date of October llth, 1983 at 10:00 A.M. was set for the first work shop session. Memos would be sent to all department heads designating the time for their discussion with the Board. There was no other business to come before the Board. MRS. MILLS moved to close the Special Meeting, seconded by Mr. Diehl and unanimously carried. The Special Meeting closed at 3:45 P. Elaine H.
