Resolution Appointing Member to the Town of Wappinger Zoning Board of Appeals
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January
10, 2011.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman Czarniecki and seconded by
Councilman Bettina.
WHEREAS, the appointment of Patrick McVeigh to the Zoning Board of Appeals
expired on December 31, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger wishes to appoint Thomas
VanTine to the Town of Wappinger Zoning Board of Appeals for a 7 year term, to expire on
December 31, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Thomas VanTine is hereby appointed
as a Member of the Town of Wappinger Zoning Board of Appeals to December 31, 2017.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

At the Zoning Board of Appeals meeting that was held on December 14, 2010 the
Zoning Board of Appeals made a motion to recommend that Mr. Patrick McVeigh be
reappointed for another five year term. The motion carried unanimously.

To whom it may concern, Kindly accept this as my letter of interest in serving on the Town of Wappinger
Zoning Board of Appeals. As a Code Enforcement /Zoning Enforcement Officer with the Village of Fishkill
since August of 20011 feel I could be an asset to this Board. One of my most relevant duties as a Zoning
Enforcement Officer is to interpret the Village Zoning Code as well as advise the ZBA members on pertinent
issues that are before them. In ten years my interpretations have never been overruled by an Article 78 action. I
truly believe that my working knowledge of zoning rules and their relevant applications would be a definite plus
