2010-3892010-389 Resolution Eliminating One Position of Full -Time Municipal Code Enforcement Inspector At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on December 13, 2010. The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following were present: PRESENT: Supervisor - Christopher J. Colsey Councilmembers - William H. Beale (arrived. 7: 01 pm) Vincent F. Bettina Ismay Czarniecki (arrived 7:14pm) Joseph P. Paoloni ABSENT: The following Resolution was introduced by Supervisor Colsey and seconded by Councilwoman Czarniecki. WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger has created three full-time positions of Municipal Code Enforcement Inspector and all such positions are currently filled; and WHEREAS, for budgetary reasons, the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger has determined that one position of Municipal Code Enforcement Inspector is to be eliminated; and WHEREAS, the employee to be adversely affected by this position elimination shall be the Municipal Code Enforcement Inspector with the least seniority in that position; and WHEREAS, the Dutchess County Department of Personnel has confirmed in writing that the Municipal Code Enforcement Inspector with the least seniority is Susan Dao. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that, effective immediately, the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger hereby eliminates one full-time position of Municipal Code Enforcement Inspector; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the least senior of the three full-time Municipal Code Enforcement Inspectors currently employed by the Town of Wappinger, as confirmed by the Dutchess County Department of Personnel, shall be adversely affected by the elimination of this position; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is authorized to complete any documentation required by the Dutchess County Department of Personnel in connection with the elimination of this Municipal Code Enforcement Inspector position.
