1981-07-29 SPMA Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held on July 29, 1981 at the Town Hall, Mill street, Village of Wwppingers Falls, Dutchess County, New York. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Diehl at 7:09 P.M. Present: Louis Diehl, Supervisor Nicholas Johnson, Councilman Bernice Mills, Councilwoman Janet Reilly, Councilwoman Frank Versace, Councilman Elaine Snowden, Town Clerk Others Present: Allan Rappleyea, Attorney Notice of this meeting was sent to the Town Board members on July 20, 1981, calling said meeting for July 29, 1981 at 7:00 P.M. to consider problem at the Oakwood Sewer Plant and Hilltop Water works and retiring into executive session to discuss litigation pending with D.W.S. Notice was sent to the News Media on July 22, 1981 and also posted ontthe Town Clerk:! s- Bulletin Board. Upon opening the Special Meeting, Supervisor Diehl advised the Board and the Public that the information concerning the proposed topics for tonight's Meeting had not been received timely enough for the Board to discuss, therefore he felt these matters would have to be held over for the Regular Board Meeting in August. Supervisor Diehl then entertained a motion to recess into Executive Session. MR. JOHNSON moved the Town Board recess into Executive Session with the Town of Wappinger Planning Board and the Attorney to the Town to discuss the Article 78 filed by D.W.S. Holdings, Inc. and W.V.C. Realty Corp. Seconded By Mrs. Mills Motion Unanimously Carried The Board recessed at: 7:11 P.M. The Special Meeting was called back to order by Deputy Supervisor Johnson at 9:40 P.M. All Board members again present with the exception of Supervisor Diehl. MRS. MILLS moved that a letter be sent to the Officers of the Little League congratulating them on a very successful season. Congratulations should 0 to Little League, Senior League, Girls Softball League, etc. The letter should state that it is anticipated that recognition will be given to players at the Town Parade ceremonies held this September. Seconded by Mr. Johnson Motion Unanimously Carried MRS. REILLY moved the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Mr. Versace. Motion Unanimously Carried Meeting adjourned 9:47 P.M. Elaine H.
