1979-06-04 SPM1. 1 6 0 A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held on June 4, 1979 at Town Hall, Mill Street, Village of Wappingers Falls, New York. Notice of said meeting was sent to all Board Members on May 31, 1979, calling the meeting for June 4, 1979 at 5:00 P.M. for the purpose of considering the appointment of a Building Inspector and, zoning Administrator to fill the vacancy created by the 1 resignation of Robert Ruit and any other business that may properly come before the Board. Supervisor Diehl opened the meeting at 5:15 P.M. Present: Louis Diehl, Supervisor Leif Jensen, Councilman Nicholas Johnson, Councilman Janet Reilly, Councilwoman Elaine Snowden, Town Clerk Absent: Bernice Mills, Councilwoman Mr. Diehl stated that due to the fact that there was some confusion involved with the Dutchess County Commissioner of Personnel office in making a permanent appointment to the office of Building Inspector, they would not act on this matter at this time. The Board would confer with the Attorney to the Town and the Commissioner of Personnel to clarify the stgiatAtAlfr,tiliSl appointment and adjourn until Wednesday, June 6, 1979 at 5:00 P.M. at which time they would again consider the appointment of a Building Inspector and Zoning Administrator.
