1977-02-07 SPMWAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK The undersigned, being all of the members of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, do hereby waive notice of the time and place of the holding of a Special Meeting of said Town Board, and do hereby agree and consent that the same be held on the 7th day of February, 1977, 9:30 P.M. in the afternoon of that day at the Town Hall of the Town of Wappinger Mill Street, in the Village of Wappingers Falls#. Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, for the transaction of all business which may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof. Due and timely notice of the above mentioned meeting is hereby admitted. Town Clerk Town of Wappinger A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held February 7, 1977, at 9:30 P.M. in the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, New York. All Board memebers being present, and having signed the above waiver of Notice of Special Meeting, each for himself, Supervisor Diehl Called the meeting to order at 9:35 P.M. The purpose of the meeting was to reconsider action taken by the Town Board at their January 24, 1977 meeting, more specifically consideration of deClaring Friday, February 11, 1977 as the observance of Lincolns Birthday, a Legal Holiday which falls on Saturday this year; and, the carrying over of 1 week of vacation time for two Town employees. MR. DIEHL MOVED TO RESCIND his motion made on January 24, 1977 whichtaated that Lincoln§ Birthday not be considered a Town of Wappinger HOliday this year. Seconded by Mr. Clausen Motion Unanimously Carried MR. CLAUSEN moved that the Town of Wappinger observe Lincoln's Birthday on February 11, 1977, and that all Town offices and departments will be closed on Friday Feb. llth in commemoration of Lincoln's Birthday February 12th. Seconded by Mr. Versace Motion Unanimously Carried MR. CLAUSEN MOVED TO RESCIND his motion made on January 24, 1977 which denied requetts of Sylvia Anderson and Dorothy Hirsch to carry over 5 days of their unused vacation into 1977. Seconded by Mr. Versace Motion Unanimously Carried MR. CLAUSEN moved that vacation carry-over be adhered to as stated in the Town's Policy. Seconded by Mr. Diehl Motion Unanimously Carried Mr. Clausen Moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Diehl and unanimously carried. Meeting Adjourned 9:40 P.M. 2/7/77 1//BY uis D.
