A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held on June 2, 1976 at 4:00 P.M. at the Town Hall, Mill Street,
Wappingers Falls, New York.
Notice of said meeting to each Board member was dated May 28, 1976,
calling the meeting for 4:00 P.M. June 2, 1976, for the purpose of
considering the acceptance of Performance Bonds for D.W.S. Holdings,
Inc., Moccasin Hill Roads.
Supervisor Diehl called the meeting to order at 4:29 P.M.
Present:
Louis Diehl, Supervisor
Louis Clausen, Councilman
Leif Jensen, Councilman
Frank Versace, Councilman
Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk
Absent:
Nicholas Johnson, Councilman
Supervisor Diehl explained the purpose of the meeting was for
consideration of the request from D.W.S. Holdings, Inc. to accept
both a Performance Bond and a Maintenance Bond for the roads in tke
entire Moccasin Hill Sghdivision, and simultaneously request the
return of the cash security and maintenance bonds, in the amount
of $24,632.50, placed with the Town of Wappinger for the roads in
the first section of Moccasin Hill Subdivision.
The Performance Bond offered was in the amount of $57,330.00, and
11110 the Maintenance Bond offered was in the amount of $38,411.10.

Gentlemen:
Please be advised that the bond, together with the rider,
posted by DWS Holdings, Inc. to cover the roads in Moccasin Hill
Subdivision is, in my opinion, sufficient to insure the completion
of the roads to town specifications within a two year period.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the bonds and the riders thereto and find
them to be in order.
I, therefore, find that once accepted by the Town Board,
the cash deposits can be returned to the developer.

MR. DIEHL moved to accept the Performance Bond, in the amount of
$57,330.00, and the Maintenance Bond, in the amount of $38,411.10,
from D.W.S. Holdings Inc., for the entire roads in the Subdivision
known as Moccasin Hill, and further, release and return to D.W.S.
Holdings, Inc., the cash bond, in the amount of $24,632.50, which
was deposited for the first section of said Moccasin Hill Subdivi-
sion.
