A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held on October 5, 1977 at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers
Falls, New York.
This Special Meeting was scheduled at the Regular Monthly Meeting
of the Town Board held on September 12, 1977, calling the meeting
for 5:00 P.M. on October 5, 1977, for the purpose of the presenta-
tion by the Town Clerk of the Budget Officers Tentative Budget of
the Town of Wappinger for the year 1978 to the Town Board.
Notice of said meeting was given to the Poughkeepsie Journal, the
Beacon Evening News and the Southern Dutchess News (W&SD News) and
Radio Stations WKIP, WBNR, WHPN and WEOK, and a Notice of said
meeting was posted on the Town of Wappinger Bulletin Board maintained
by the Town Clerk on September 28, 1977.
Supervisor Diehl called the meeting to order at 5:15 P.M.

Frank Versace, Councilman
Supervisor Diehl opened the meeting noting that the purpose of
this meeting was for the express purpose of delivering the Budget
Officers Tentative 1978 Town of Wappinger Budget to the Town Board.
Mrs. Snowden, pursuant to Section 106 of Town Law, thereupon
presented the Town of Wappinger Tentative Budget for the year 1978,
to the Town Board.
There being no discussion by the Board, nor any other business to
come before the Board, the Supervisor called for a motion to adjourn.
MR. JENSEN moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Johnson
and carried.
