A Public Hearing was held by the Town Board of the Town of
Wappinger on November 18, 1975, at Wappingers Jr. High School,
Remsen Avenue, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the Assessment
Roll for the Central Wappinger Water Improvement Area.
Deputy Supervisor Clausen opened the Hearing at 8:09 P.M.
Present:
Louis Clausen, Deputy Supervisor
Leif Jensen, Councilman
Frank Versace, Councilman
Stephen Saland, Councilman
Elaine Snowden, Town Clerk
Absent:
Louis Diehl, Supervisor (who was on vacation)
Others Present:
Matthew Ryan, Comptroller
Allan Rappleyea, Attorney to the Town
William Egan, Confidential Secretary to Supervisor
The Town Clerk offered for the record the Affidavit of Posting
and Publication duly signed and notarized by Albert Osten of the
W&SD News. (These Affidavits are attached hereto and made a part
thereof of the minutes of this meeting).
Mr. Clausen told those present that the purpose of the Hearing
was to inform the residents of the amount of taxes to be raised
for Central Water Improvement Area.
Mr. Rappleyea went into discussion on bonding, amount of years
and interest rates.
Mr. Sailer asked about the Bond Anticipation Notes and what
interest they were paying.
Mr. Ronald Fidler asked if this would be raised next year.
Mr. Sailer asked about services involved. How much is going
toward the Plants?
Mrs. Owen asked what pipes are now being put in.
Mr. Findler asked bbout the formula and amount of land involved
in a unit.

Mr. Sailer wished to grieve the formula they had made up.
MR. SALAND moved to close the Public Hearing, seconded by Mr.
Clausen and unanimously carried.
The Hearing closed at 8:30 P.M.
