1975-04-30 SPMA Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held on Wednesday, April 30, 1975, at Town Hall, Mill Street, Village of Wappingers Falls, Wappingers Falls, New York. Notice of said meeting was mailed to each Board member on April 25, 1975, calling the meeting for April 30, 1975 at 9:00 P.M.,. for the purpose of: A. To consider immediate action of $2,500 received from Schoonmaker to complete recreation in that development. B. To Consider rates where professional and home use is in the same residence (water & sewer). C. To act on Contract #7 (Mr. Lapar's office). D. To act on letter of March 5, 1975 from Dutchess County Health Department. E. To act on any and all reports of Comptroller, and any other business that may properly come before the Board. Supervisor Diehl opened the meeting at 9:30 P.M. Preselt: Louis Diehl, Supervisor Leif Jensen, Councilman Frank Versace, Councilman Absent: Louis Clausen, Councilman Stephen Saland, Councilman Others Present: Allan Rappleyea, Attorney to the Town MR. JENSEN moved forauthorize Mr. Diehl or either member of the Water and Sewer Committee (Mr. Versacd'or Mr. Jensen) to authorize emergency repairs to any of the water and sewer systems in instances where the Town Board can not be convened and the situation requires immediate decision. Seconded by Mr. Versace. Roll Call Vote: 3 Ayes 0 Nays Motion made by MR. DIEHL, to permit further building permits in the Rockingham Farms Sewer District where the Dutchess County Board of Health permits further connections to the sewer system, 134 135 and all other conditions have been met, as may be determined by the Building Inspector. Seconded by Mr. Jensen. Roll Call Vote: 3 Ayes 0 Nays Motion made by MR. JENSEN, requesting the Recreation Commission to plan and complete improvements at the Rockingham Recreation Area as soon as possible. Within the recreational budget, appro- priations, together with the additional $2,500.00, as contributed by Schoonmaker Homes, Inc. for improvements at the recreation area. Seconded by Mr. Versace Roll Call Vote: 3 Ayes 0 Nays MR. JENSEN moved that the Town Clerk notify Roundtree Builders that it must comply with Item #1 of the Dutchess County Board of Health letter of March 5th, 1975, and the directions and approvals of the Town Engineer, Rudolph E. Lapar. Seconded by Mr. Versace Roll Call Vote: 3 Ayes 0 Nays MR. JENSEN made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Versace and carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:10 P.M. Spl.
