1974-12-02 PH387a A Public Hearing was held by the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger on Monday, December 2, 1974, at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, New York on the Establishment of the Wappinger Sewer Improvement Area No. 2 Supervisor Diehl opened the Hearing at 8:07 P.M. Present: Louis Diehl, Supervisor Louis Clausen, Councilman Leif Jensen, Councilman Stephen Saland, Councilman Frank Versace, Councilman Elaine Snowden, Town Clerk Others Present: Allan Rappleyea, Attorney to the Town Rudolph Lapar, Engineer to the Town The Town Clerk offered for the record the Affidavit of Posting and Publication duly signed and notarized by Paul Makowski of the Poughkeepsie Journal. (These Affidavits are attached hereto and made a part thereof of the minutes of this Hearing). Mr. Hayward of Hayward and Pakan, Engineers who had prepared map, plan and report along with Mr. Lapar, was present. Also present was Dr. Reywald, President of the Environment Council, also Jack Hill. Mr. Lapar presented a map showing the area in whole and the portion within the Town of Wappinger. He gave a lengthy presentation of this project -- participants, pumping stations, mileage it covered, cost to all, cost to the Town, bonding, benefit units, service charge (o&m) etc. After this presentation, Supervisor Diehl opened the Hearing to the public.
