Supervisor Diehl opened the Public Hearing at 8:33 P.M. Present: Louis Diehl, Supervisor Louis Clausen, Councilman Leif Jensen, Councilman Stephen Saland, Councilman Frank Versace, Councilman Elaine Snowden, Town Clerk Others Present: Allan Rappleyea, Attorney to the Town Hugh J. Maurer, Chairman of the Recreation Commission The Town Clerk offered for the record theAffidavit of Posting and Publication duly signed and notarized by Albert Osten of the W&SD News. Supervisor Diehl explained that the Recreation Commissiom members had requested Mr. Rappleyea to get together with them to draw up this Ordinance so that they would have some control in the parks. If this was on the books as an adopted Ordinance, we could then have it enforced by law. Mr. Brent Williams asked what the problems were. Mr. Jerry Miller spoke about having an area set aside for motor- cycling. He was against the Ordinance; he did not think all the problems were from these activities. Mr. Lee Beard asked what recreation areas the Town diad. Other speakers were: Gus Tullo, Mrs. Martin and Mr. Williams and Mr. Miller spoke several times. These are all contained in the transcript filed in the Town Clerk's office . 309 Upon motion of Mr. Saland and seconded by Mr. Diehl and unanimously carried, the Hearing closed at 9:05 P.M. Elaine H.
