The proposal is to expose the interior structure of the walls and install angle brackets that would be bolted to the wood studs and into the concrete floor as well as angle brackets securing the top plate to the studs. Upon completion of this work the existing paneling would be replaced along with the cap piece. New corner moulding and rubber base moulding would be installed. Second phase would be the installation of the glass panel. This glass panel would be 3'-6" high by 10'-0" long by 1/2" thick of tempered polished safety glass. It would be placed in a 4" high brushed stainless steel — heavy duty commercial shoe. This shoe would be mounted to the top of the partition wall (attached are sketches of the proposed work — 3 pages). Enc. The following is a cost breakdown of the proposed work: Remediation to the partition walls: $4,500.00 Furnish and install glass panels: $7,200.00 Total: $11,700.00 If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at (845) 454-3411 ext. 53.
