Resolution Appointing Member to the Town of Wappinger Fire Prevention Bureau
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on April 11,
2011.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Christopher J. Colsey
Councilmembers - William H. Beale (Arrived at 6:03 PM)
Vincent F. Bettina (Arrived at 6:25 PM)
Ismay Czarniecki (Arrived at 6:15 PM)
Joseph P. Paoloni
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by
Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger is provided fire service protection through the New
Hackensack, Hughsonville and Chelsea Volunteer Fire Districts; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Fire Prevention Bureau is comprised of
representatives from each District; and
WHEREAS, the Hughsonville Fire District, in a memo dated February 10, 2011, has
recommended the appointment of Michael Valentino, Sr., to the Town of Wappinger Fire
Prevention Bureau, replacing Ed D'Anna, Captain of the Hughsonville Fire District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of
Wappinger hereby appoints Michael Valentino, Sr., to the Town of Wappinger Fire Prevention
Bureau.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

Please be advised that the Hughsonville Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners, at their February 9, 2011
meeting, addressed the matter of amending its appointments to the Fire Prevention Bureau for 2011.
It was decided at that meeting to appoint Michael Valentino, Sr., to the Fire Prevention Bureau. He will replace
Captain Ed. D'Anna.
