Resolution Awarding Bid for a Tow -Behind Mower
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on June 13,
2011.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by
Councilwoman Czarniecki.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 2011-171, adopted by the Town Board on April 25, 2011,
the Town Board authorized the purchase and bonding of a tow behind mower as set forth in the
aforementioned Resolution; and
WHEREAS, bid specifications were prepared by Town engineering firm and published
in the legal advertisement section of the Poughkeepsie Journal and Southern Dutchess News; and
WHEREAS, the following bids, as forwarded to the Town Board in advance of this
resolution, which met the bid specifications and the requirements of the Department were
received:

Grassland $ 14,140.00
WHEREAS, the lowest bid proposal for a tow behind mower for the Department of
Buildings and Grounds is Pine Plains Tractor and Equipment, Inc., Route 199, Pine Plains, NY,
12567, in the amount of Twelve Thousand, Nine Hundred Seventy -Four Dollars and 18/100
($12,974.18).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:

Route 199, Pine Plains, NY, 12567, in the amount of Twelve Thousand, Nine
Hundred Seventy -Four Dollars and 18/100 ($12,974.18).
3. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Town Supervisor and Town Accountant to
execute a Purchase Order for the purchase of a tow behind mower with Pine
Plains Tractor and Equipment, Inc., Route 199, Pine Plains, NY, 12567.
