A Special Meeting'of:the Town Board of,the Town of Wappinger was
held on December 20, 1971, at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers
Falls, New York.
This meeting was called for December 20, 1971,at 7:30 P.,M. by
Supervisor Diehl for the purpose of transfer of funds for a capitol
note due on December 23rd, and any other business that may properly
come before the Board. All Board members were notified of said
meeting by mail on December 16, 1971.
Councilman Holt called the meeting to order in the absence of
Supervisor Diehl.

The following Resolution was offered by MR. FINNAN who moved its
adoption:
BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of seventeen thousand five
hundred ($17,500.00) dollars is hereby transferred from Account
designated surplus funds to Account #B9740.6 - Debt Service
Capitol Notes, Principal, and be it further

RESOLVED, that the sum of five hundred fifty-four/and
seventy-five cents ($554.75) is hereby transferred from Account
designated surplus funds to Account #B9740.7 - Debt Service,
Capitol Notes Interest.
Seconded by Mr.' Mills.

MR. FINNAN moved that:Ftank Manning, Litehsed Public Accountant,
be appointed to audit the accounts for the Town'of Wappih.ger for
the year 1971.
Seconded by -Mr. 3 Ayes 0 Nays
Mr. Egan informed the Board that there had been $1,000.00 appro-
priated in the 1971 Budget for the Narcotics Council. There is
now an opportunity for reimbursement by the New Vork State Narco-
tics Addiction Control Commission for a portion of the monies spent
for this purpose, if application is made. He requested that the
Board authorize the Supervisor to sign the contract so than an
application could be made for reimbursement.
MR. MILLS moved that the Supervisor is hereby authorized and
directed to sign an application for partial reimbursement of
expenditures for the Narcotics Council.
Seconded by Mr. Finnan. 3 Ayes 0 -Nays
MR. MILLS moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Holt and
carried.
