WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL
MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF
THE TOWN QF,WAPPINGER
DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK
The undersigned, being all of the members of the Town Board
of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, do hereby
waive notice of the time and place of the holding of a Special
Meeting of said Town Board, and do hereby agree and consent that
the same be held on the 5th day of October, 1971, at 7:30 o'clock

in the afternoon of that day at the Town Hall of the Town of Wappinger,
Mill Street, in the Village of Wappingers Falls, Town of Wappinger,
Dutchess County, New York, for the transaction of all business which
may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.

Town of Wappinger
A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held on October 5, 1971, at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Hall, Mill Street,
Wappingers Falls, New York.
All Board members being present, and having signed the above
waiver of notice of Special Meeting, each for himself, Supervisor
Diehl called the meeting to order at 9:28 P.M.

The Town Clerk having received the Tentative Budget for the Town
of Wappinger for the year 1972, from the Supervisor (the Budget
Officer) on October 5, 1971, presented it to the Town Board.
Informal bids for the replacement of the furnace in the Town Hall
having been solicited, and received, the Board considered the fact
that only one had been received. Due to the urgency of the prob-
lem, it was unanimously decided to act on the single bid.
MR. HOLT moved that Sigma Plumbing and Heating, Inc. be awarded
the bid for $968.00 to provide and install one crane cast iron
steam, Model *505-5 to replace existing steel boiler in the Town
Hall.
Seconded by Mr. Finnan.
Motion Unanimously Carried
MR. HOLT moved that permission be granted Mr. Logan to attend the
Assessors Training Course in Ithaca, and his legitimate expenses
be a Town charge..
Seconded by Mr. Mills.
Motion Unanimously Carried
MR. HOLT inoved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Clausen
and unanimously carried.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
