1971-06-04 SPMA Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held on June 4, 1971, at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers
Falls, New York. Notice of the Special Meeting was mailed to
each member on June 1, 1971, upon request of Mr. Clausen, and Mr.
Diehl to call a meeting for June 4, 1971 at 5:30 P.M. for the
purpose of introducing a Local Law providing that the term of the
office of Supervisor in the Town of Wappinger shall be four years.
Supervisor Diehl called the meeting to order at 5:45 P.M.

Louis Diehl, Supervisor
Louis Clausen, Councilman
Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk
Absent:
G. Donald Finnan, Councilman
Harry Holt, Councilman
James Mills, Councilman
Supervisor Diehl stated that the meeting was called for the
purpose of introducing a local law providing that the term of
office of Supervisor in the Town of Wappinger shall be four years.
Supervisor Diehl further stated that no action could be taken for
lack of a quorum.
MR. CLAUSEN moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Diehl.
Meeting adjourned at 5:47. P.M.
