the Application of Hill -Top Water -Works for the Extension of their
water lines, was held on March 26, 1971, at the Town Hall, Mill
Street, Wappingers Falls, New York.
Supervisor Diehl opened the Hearing at 8:32 P.M.

Others Present:
Allan Rappleyea, Attorney to the Town
Gerald Garner, Attorney
The Town Clerk coirmed, for the record, Notices of Publication
and Posting having been offered at the opening of this Public
Hearing on March 15, 1971, and that the Public Hearing had been
duly adjourned to March 26, 1971, 8:00 P.M. at the Town Hall, Mill
Street, Wappingers Falls, New York.
The Town Clerk again read the Petition.
Mr. Mills stated that the Town Board had met and have decided they
will not accept the option price, as part of Local Law ##2, 1967,
for the Hill -Top Water -Works system because, in their opinion,
it was too high. He, therefore, would like to close the Public
Hearing because the Board will not take any action whatsoever on
extending the Hill -Top Water Franchise or system, but the Board has
made arrangements to supply, or get some water to the apartment
complex known as Haven Hill.
MR. MILLS moved the hearing be closed.
Seconded by Mr. Holt.
