1970-12-28 SPMA Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was
held Monday, December 28, 1970, at the Town Hall, Mill Street,
Wappingers Falls, New York.
Supervisor Diehl opened the meeting at 7:45 P.M.

William Horton, Superintendent of Highways
The following bills were presented for payment:
General Fund $4,878.53 Flt.WD $ 35.62 OKWD $ 225.
Highway Fund 5,716.67 Flt.)!SD 35.63 OKSD 225.
MR. CLAUSEN moved to pay the bills subject to audit, seconded by
Mr. Finnan.
Motion Unanimously Carried
The following resolutions were offered by MR. MILLS, who moved
their adoption:
WHEREAS, the sum of $2,100.00 has been appropriated to Account
#505, Town Hall and Offices, Rentals, Town Wide. This account has
been overexpended and overdrawn by the sum of $252.92 in order to
meet bills presented for payment. The additional monies were
obtained from Account #507, Town Hall and Offices, Purchase of
Equipment. We, therefore, recommend that the Town Board authorize
the transfer of the sum of $252.92 from Account #507 to Account
#505, in order to eliminate the overdraft and reimburse said account
and in order to ratify and confirm the previously unauthorized
appropriation.
RESOLVED, that the sum of .$252.92 be and the same hereby is
appropriated to Account #505 and that said sum is hereby transferred
theyeto from Account #507.
WHEREAS, the sum of $225.00 has been alppropriated to Account
#1207, Association of Towns, Dues. This account has been over -
expended and overdrawn by the sum of $60.00 in order to meet bills
presented for payment. The additional monies were obtained from
Account #1208; Association of Towns, Expenses. We, therefore
recommend that the Town Board authorize the transfer of the sum of $60.
from Account #1208 to Account #1207, in order to eliminate the over-
draft and reimburse said account and in order to ratify and confirm th
previously unauthorized appropriation.
RESOLVED, that the sum of $60.00 be and the same hereby is
appropriated to Account #1207 and that said sum is hereby trans-
ferred thereto from Account #1208.
