WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL
MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF
THE ITOWN OF WAPPINGER
DUTCHESS COUNTY, NEW YORK
The undersigned, being all of the members of the Town
Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, do
hereby waive notice of the time and place of the holding of a
Special Meeting of said Town Hoard, and do hereby agree and
consent that the same be held on the 31st day of March, 1970,
8:00 o'clock in the afternoon of that day at the Town Hall
of the Town of Wappinger, Mill Street, in the Village of
Wappingers Falls, Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, for the transaction of all business which may properly
come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.

Others Present: Allan E. ppleyea, Attny to the Twn. Rudolph E. hapar, Eng.to Twn.
The following, resoluttion was offered by Councilman Clausen, who
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS the Town Board of Wappinger by Resolution dated February 17,
1970 authorized and directed the Town Supervisor to execute a certain
lease agreement between the Town of Wappinger, Village gf Wappingers,
Town of Poughkeepsie, City of Poughkeepsie, and the County of Dutchess,
and
WHEREAS said agreement has been amended to provide that each of the
parties to the agreement shall have the right to purchase from the County
of Dutchess earth:for fill at five (5) cents per cubic yard with the
removal of such fill being uaed at the Landfill Site and such fill being
subject to the supervision of the Commissioner of Public Works of the
County of Dutchess,
NOW, THEREFORE be it
RESOLVED by the Town Board bf the Town of Wappinger that the Super-
visor be and hereby is authorized to execute the aforementioned amended
lease agreement covering the 53.4 acres of land at the Dutchess County
Airport Site in the Town of Wappinger for a maximum term of ten (10) years
at a monthly rental of FIFTY ($50.00) DOLLARS, and saiii premises shall be
used only for a sanitary landfill.
