A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held on October
30, 1967 at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, N.Y. at 8:07 P.M..
Members Present:
Joseph Fulton, Supervisor
William Bulger, Justice of the Peace
Vincent Francese, Justice of the Peace
Louis Clausen, Councilman
Louis Diehl, Councilman
Mr, Francese moved to call a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Wappinger for the purpose of adopting the Annual Budget for 1968.
Seconded by Mr. Clausen. Motion Unanimously Carried.
The following Resolution was offered by Mr. Francese, seconded by Mr. Clausen:
WHEREAS, this Town Board has met at the time and place specified in the
notice of public hearing on the preliminary budget and heard all persons desiring
to be heard thereon; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that his Town Board does hereby adopt such preliminary budget
as originally compiled, as the annual budget of this Town for the fiscal year
beginning on the 1st day of January, 1968, and that such budget as so adopted
be entered in detail in the minutes of the proceedings of this Town Board and
be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk of this Town shall prepare and
certify, in duplicate, copies of said annual budget as adopted by this Town
Board, together with the estimates, if any, adopted pursuant to section 202—a,
subd. 2, of the Town Law and deliver one copy thereof to the Supervisor of
this Town to be presented by him to the Board of Supervisors of this County.

motion Carried.
Mr. Diehl made the statement that he voted "no" because of the increases in
salaries. Mr. Fulton stated his reason for voting "no" was the same.
Mr. Bulger moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Francese.
Motion Unanimously Carried.
Meeting adjourned at 8:10 P.M..
