1966-11-28 SPM3:46 A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger was held on Monday evening, November 28, 1966, at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, New York. Present: Joseph H. Fulton, Supervisor Louis Clausen, Councilman William J. Bulger, Justice of the Peace Louis Diehl, Councilman Vincent S. Francese, Justice of the Peace Elaine H. Snowden, Town Clerk Others Present: Harold H. Reilly, Attorney for the Town The Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Fulton at 6:09 P.M. Mr. Spivak and Mr. Michel were present for the D.C.R. Realty Corporation petition for rezoning. Mr. Fulton and Mr. Reilly explained to them that there had been an omission of notice to the Town of Fishkill of the Public Hearing on their petition, and that for the Board tO act on the petition without this notification would create an illegal act of re -zoning. A 10 day notice of Hearing is required by law before any decision can be arrived at by the Board. Mr. Fulton Called a recess at 6:11 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Francese. Unanimously Carried. Motion made by Mr. Bulger, seconded by Mr. Clausen and carried, to call the meeting to order at 6:42 P.M. Mr. Clausen meved to set December 8, 1966, at 6:30 P.M. for the adjourned Public Hearing on the Rezoning Petition of D.C.R. Realty Corporation, seconded by Mr. Bulger and Unanimously Carried. Mr. Bulger made a motion to appoint Harry Straley as Dog Enumerator for the Town ofWappinger. Seconded by Mr. Clausen and Unanimously Carried. Mr. Clausen moved to adjourn the meeting to December 8, 1966, at 6:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Bulger and Unanimously Carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:45 P.M. Elaine H. Snowden Town Clerk
