1965-06-13 SPMA special meeting of the Town Board, Town of Wappinger, was held on Friday
evening, June 13th, 1965, in the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls,
N. Y.
Present: -Supervisor -Richard H. Linge, Councilman -George Robsinsoliistlostices
of the Peace -William J. Bulger and Vincent S. Francese, Councilman -Louis
Diehl, Attorney for Town -Harold H. Reilly, Engineer for Town-Vincaat Kelly.
Meeting was opened at 5:30 P. M. by Supervisor -Richard H. Linge
After a discussion concerning the situation involving the present health
hazard at the Oakwood Knolls, Sewerage Plant, which was brought to light by
some complaints of the residents and the investigation by the Dutchess County
Board of Health, the following resolution was proposed by Councilman Francese
RESOLVED: that the Town Attorney -Harold H. Reilly and Supervisor Richard
H. Linge be authorized to investigate the problem and to take the necessary
steps to call the Bond and to collect monies for the completion of the
sewer system from the Bonding Company and from the Principal on the Bond,
The Ritter Construction Corp.
Seconded by Councilman Diehl. A unamemous vote of the Board was
had in favor of the resolution.
After a further discussion concerning the failur of Ritter Construction Corp.
to complete the roads in the Oakwood Knolls sub division the following res-
olution was proposed by Councilman Bulger
RESOLVED: That the Town Attorney Harold H. Reilly be authorized to
take the necessary steps to call the Bond and to collect the Monies for the
completion of these improvements from the Bonding Company and from the
principal on the Bond, Ritter Construction Copp.
Seconded by Councilman Diehl.
A unanimous vote was had in favor of the resolution.
