A Special meeting of the Town Board, Town of Wappinger was,held on
Monday evening, November 2, 1964 in the Town Hall, Mill Street,
Wappingers Falls, N. Y.
Present: -Supervisor -Richard H. Linge, Councilman -Wilmer Ifill and
George Robinson, Justice of the peace -William Bulger and Vincent
Francese, Town Attorney -Judson Williams and Town ClerkeHelenL,
Travis..
Supervisor Linge called the meeting together at 7:30,P. M.
The preliminary Budget was ciscussed and it was decided to reduce
the Supervisors salary to $3500700 per year. The Assessors Salaries
to $5800, and the Machiner Item #3, Purchase of Machinery, Toos and
Equipment was reduced $6000.oq.
The following rlsolution was made by Justice of the Peace Bulger
. and seconded by Councilman Ifill
WHEREAS,, the Town Board has met at the time and place specified in
the notice of Public Hearing on the preliminary budget and heard all
persons desiring to be heard thereon, now,therefore, be it.
RESOLVEDe,thatlhe Town Board does hereby adopt such prelipinary.
Budget with the above cl)anges, as the Annual Budget of the Town
for the fiscal year beginning the the 1st day of January 1965, and
that such budget asso adopted be entered in detail in,the minutes
of the.proceeding of this Town Board, and be it,
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk of the Townshall prepare and
certify in duplicate copies of said annual budget as adopted by the
Town Board together with the estimates, if any, adopted pursuant
tosection 202a, Subd 2m of the Town Law and deliver one copy
thereof to the Supervisor of the Town to be presented by him to the
Board of Supervisor of the County

Councilman -Wilmer Ifill--Aye
Councilman -George Robinson --Aye
Justice of the Peace—William Bulger --Aye
Justice of the Peace -Vincent Francewe--Aye

Motion was made by Councilman Robinson and seconded by Justice of
the Peace Bulger that the meeting adjourn.
