Carried Be it resolved that the highway known as" Peters Road" lying on the west side of the All Angels Road,as described in a deed from Manuel and Anna Peters to the Town of Wappinger dated and acknowledged July 18;1955 be accepted as a public highway of the Town of Wappinger, such acceptance to take effect as of the date of filing with the Town clerk 'a performance bond in the penal amount of $1000.0onditioned upon the construction and completion of said road by the said Manuel Peters in accordance with the specifications of the Town Superintendent of Highways on or before the 4th, day of August 1956 Motion made by Justice Beatty seconded by Councilman Mewki.11 that the above resolution be adopted. Motion Carried. Motion that the Town Attorney be and he hereby is authorized to write a letter directed to Brest Haven Homes Inc. indicating that the "Town of Wappinger will approve drainage- from Peter Drive, either by drainage easement or by the use of seepage pits,provided that the means used meets with the approval of the Town -Superintendent of Highways and the consulting engi Motion made by Councilman Hager -seconded V 'Justice Beatty that the resignation of Judge James J.Igons be accepted with M@t • Carried Application was received from Joseph'F49117 for the appointment of Justice of the Peace ,Town of Wappinger made vacant by the resignation of Hon.James J'Lyons. Motion was made by Councilman Mae►kfll: seconded by Justice Beatty that Joseph F Ke13y be appointed Justice of the Peace to fill -the vacancy'caused by the resignation of Justice James J.iyons appointment to take effect immediately. at a nalaz7 of $ 1500.00 per year. Motion Carried. Motion made by Councilman Hager seconded by Councilman Mewkill,that James J. Lyons be appointed Attorney for the Town of Aappinger at a salary of $300. per year and expenses. Carried. Motion made by Judge Beatty seconded by Councilman Hager that the agreement Wa er and -the Central Hudson Gas-& Electric Corp,between the Town of Aping - dated August 1.3,947 as modified November 4,1952 be further "modified in accordance with the proposal submitted July 25,195 _by said Utility,Conpany The supervdsor is hereby instructed to sign said contract.
