E.Cprliek was on vacation in Florida. atx, Town Cly. 19 At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, held in the Town Offices on Kill Stream in the Village of Wappingers Fails in said Township on the 7th day of March, 1957 at 7:30 p.m. Resolution offered by Seconded by WAS a petition has been duly presented to this Town Board requesting the annexation to the Pillage of Wap- pingers Falls of certain territory now within the tshp, Wim$ it is the desire of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger that a public hearing thereon be Meld pur- suant to Paragraph 2 of Section 348 of the Pillage Law of the State of New York. NOW TOREFOU BE IT RESOLVED that the Supervisor of the Town of Wappinger be and he hereby is authorized and directed to give notice of such public hearing in the wanner provided by law, and to fix the time and place of such hearing in accordance with the aforesaid requirements of Section 348, the Pillage Law of the State of New Pork. The foregoing resolution being put to vote ea roil call was unanimously adepted. DECISION OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER CONSENTING TO EXTENSION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE VILLAGE OF WA PPIN- GERS FALLS WHEREAS, a petition on the application of Oak Park Development Corp. and others for the annexation of certain ter- ritory to the incorporated Village of Wappingers Falls as more fully appears in the petition, was filed with Hon. Edward R. Sco- field, the Supervisor of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, Now York, on the 7th day of March, 1957, and WHEREAS, said Supervisor, pursuant to Statute did on the 16th day of. March, 1957 execute and cause to be posted a Notice of Public Hearing in the matter to be held at the corner of DeMarcantonio Place and Maple Street in said territory propose to be annexed, said meeting to be held on the 28th day of March, 1957 at 4:30 o'clock p.m., and WHEREAS, proof of the posting of said notice has been duly filed, and WHEREAS supervisor Edward R. Scofield, Justice of Peace Beatty, Justice of the Peace Kelly and Councilman Mewkill, four of the qualified members in the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger did attend in a body at the time and place specified in said Notice fob the purpose of holding such publics hearing as required by Statute, and WHEREAS, there appeared before said Town Board Joseph F. Hawkins, Esq., as attorney for the petitioner Oak Park Development Corp. in favor of said petition, and there being no appearance in opposition thereto, and WHEREAS, the Town Board has examined said petition as required by law, NOW THEREFORE, the undersigned, being a majority of the members of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger qualified to act in this proceeding, DO CONSENT that the territory describe in such petition and lying in general along the southerly boundar of the Village of Wappingers Falls in the Town of Wappinger be an nexed to said Village of Wappingers Falls. And the undersigned do further find that the petiti Complies in all respects with the provisions of Article 15 of the Village Law.
