A group of people appeared before the Town Board for the purpose of talking
about annexation to the Village,various questions were asked and answered
by either Town Attorney or members of the Town Board,or by those who attended
from the Village Board. Mayor Temple and Village Treasurer Joseph N.cDonald
were present at the above meeting.
A special meeting was called at 9s52 P.M.on the above date ,those present
Supervisor Scofield,Justice of Peace Kelly,Counc lmen Hager & Mewkill and
Attorney James J.Tyons,for the purpose of opening bids,one bid only was
received.
Bids were opened by Supervisor for mechanical sand spreader having a capacity
of five to six cubic yards of sand or cinders.
On motion by Councilman MeiTkill seconded by Justice of Peace Kelly the contract
was awarded to H.O.Penn Machinery Co. for the sum of x$2595.00 to be paid for I
in full on March 15,1958
Motion made by Justice of Peace Kelly seconded by Councilman Mewkill that
Meeting adjourn.
