on Thursday Evening July 10,1958
Present Supervisor Edward R.Scofield,Supt.of Highway Virgil Knight,Justice of Peace
Joseph F.Kelly,Council.men Emory J.Hager and Harold J.Mewkill,James J.14yons,Attorney
and Edith H.Booth,Town Clerk.
Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Scofield at 8 o'clock P.M.

Motion made by Judge Kelly seconded by Councilman Mewkill that bills
Motion Carried
be paid.
Motion made by Judge Kelly seconded by Councilman Hager,moved that the
HigYmay Superintendent be authorized to advertize for bids on a used
payloader,not more than three years old,specifications to be obtained at
Town Clerks Office. Bids to be open on Thursday August 7,1958 at 7:30 P.M.
Motion carried.
Miction made by Judge Kelly seconded by Councilman Mewkill that the petition
for annexation of Crest Haven Area be accepted and forwarded to Village Board
for action. Motion carried
A delegation appeared before the Town Board concerning the condition of
Smithtown Road,another delegation appeared concerning the Fowler House
Road South,also a delegation from SIr Top Drive.
Judge Kelly & Councilman Hager volunteered to inspect.the above roads and
report the condition of same to the Town Board.
Motion made by Judge Hager seconded by Councilman Mewkill that a public
hearing be held at the Chelsea Fire House on August 14,1958 concerning.
the extension of the Chelsea Light District. Motion carried.
Motion made by Councilman Mewkill seconded by Judge Kelly that Fatty's
Charcoal Inn,corner of Hopewell Road & Route 9 be designated as voting
place for District No.6 Town of Wappinger year 1958
