Meeting was called to order by Supervisor Scofield at 7:30 P.M. o'clock

Motion made by Judge Beatty seconded by Councilman Hager that bills be paid.
Motion Carried
RZr._Arthur Bison appeared before the Town Board concerning stop and go light
at the intersection of Route 9 and Byers Corner Road,he was advised by the
Board that this was a State Highway and that he should contact the New York
State Department of Public works by petition.
A group of people from Smithtown Road appeared before the Town Board concerning
further improvements on said road,they were informed by the Board that further
improvements were being considered by the Tom Board.
Mr.Russell Stocker and delegation appeared before the Town Board concerning
further improvements on Ardmore Hills Drive and were told they would be given
further consideration.
Supervisor Scofield presented a copy of the Preliminary Budget to the Town
Board.
Motion was made by Councilman Mewkill seconded by Councilman Hager that the
preliminary budgetof the Town as presented to the Town Board by the Town
clerk be approved.
Resolved that this Totim Board does hereby prepare and approve as the preliminary
budget of this Totivn for the fiscal year beginning on the lst.day of January 1959
the itemized statement of estimated revenues&expenditutes hereto attached and
made a part of this resolution and be it
Further Resolved that this Town Board shall meet on the 2`4,day of October 1958
between the hours of 4 and 5 o'clock P.M. for the purpose of holding a Public
hearing in the manner provided in Section 113 of the Town Law.
The official is filed in the Supervisor's Office and the preliminary is hereby
attached.
Motion made by Councilman Hager seconded by Councilman Mevrkill that meeting
adjourn.
