A special meeting of the Town Board, Town of Wappinger was held
on Thesday evening, November 28th, 1961 at 8:00 P. M. 08clock
at the Town Hall, Mill Street, Wappingers Falls, N. Y.
Present: Supervisor: -Richard H. Lingo, Justice of Peace: -
Joseph F. Kelly and Edward B. Beatty, Councilman Malcolm I.
Halt, Town Attorney -James J. Lyons-, Town Engineer -Charles
Maneri, Town Superintendent -Charles Mewkill, Sr. Town Clerk
Helen L. Travis.
The bids for the Oil Fired Hot Air Heating Plant were opened.
Maurer* Conditioning Corp. -42,750.00
Shaker, Travis & Quinn-- 4,477.00
Motion was made by Justice of Peace Kelly and Seconded, by
Councilman Hait that the lowest bidder, Maurer Condition' Corp.
be accepted, contingent upon the contract being in accordance
with the Town requirments-and being drawn up by the Town
Attorney. Motion carried.
Motion made by Justice of Peace Beatty and seconded by Councilman
Hait that the meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
