The meeting was opened at 8:30 P. M. by Supervisor, Richard H.
Linge.
The bills for the month of Decemb:r were read. Motion was made
by Judge Kelly and seconded by Councilman Hait that the bills be

Motion was made by Judge Kelly and seconded by Councilman Hait
that Superintendent of Highways Charles Mewkill, Sr., purchase
a s9 plow from Torres Equipment Company for the sunk of
$897.00. Motion carried.
Town Clerk, Helen L. Travis asked permission to purchase a new
adding machine for the office. The Board instructed her to
secure prices on same.

Superintendent of Highways, Charles E. MewUill, Sr., was directed
to advertise for bids for fuel oil, gasoline, gravel, sand and
road oil.
Motion was made by Councilman Hait and seconded by Judge Fielly that
George Carr of Poughkeepsie be appointed to audit the books and
records for 1961, audit to be completed 90 days after the first
of the year.
The following resolution was made by Judge Kelly and seconded
by Councilman Hait.
RESOLVED: that
225.00 be transferred from the Budgetary appro-
priation for Doting Machines, purchase & Repair and be allocated
as follows: $175.00 be added to Insurance, Dire & Liability and
$50.00 to 2mxpx Election -Compensation of Custodians of Voting
Machines. Motion carried.
A letter was read from the Orchard Community Association requesting
that the Town Board grant a hearing before any decision is made on
forming a sewer district in the Orchard Homes area. A discussion
was held on same.
Supervisor Linge stated that he was in favor of a new and larger
Town Hall and that he would appreciate any suggestions from the
Town Board about same.
Motion was made by Councilman Hait and seconded by %udge Kelly that
the meeting adjourn.
