viii. Wrap Up
The Town Board decided to continue the discussion for the Highway Department on
October 22, 2012 and the discussion for Building and Grounds on October 29,2012 Councilman
Beale requested the budget worksheets to be broken down to base salary and contingency salary
for the union contract for the employees.
Supervisor Gutzler explained that on the dais was a resolution for a local law regarding
the 2% tax levy. She asked the Town Account, Frederick Awino, if the budget was under the
cap. Mr. Awino explained the tax levy. Stating that the Town is well below at .045%. Supervisor
Gutzler added that she wanted to make sure that the aggregate was below the 2%. She had the
attorney prepare the local law in case it was needed. Councilman Beale stated that it was well
below the cap and he felt the residents could afford $7. Supervisor Gutzler stated that she did not
want that brought up again. Discussion continued.
