TOWN OF WAPPINGER RECREATION COMMISSION
MINUTES OF JUNE 6, 1974 MEETING
Next meeting: June 27, 1974
7:30 p.m.
A special meeting to interview applicants for the comming Summer Program
was held June 6, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall.
Due to the fact that there was no quorum no other business was acted on.
Present was Messrs. Hugh J. Maurer, Richard Garren and Director of
Recreation W. Thomas Rogers.
Mr. Rogers introduced Miss Jo Ann Kalaka and Mr. Herbert Ransom as the
Directors for' approval. Carried.
Mr. Rogers advised the Commissioners that every Wednesday he was' having
a Director's meeting to review and discuss problems that may arise in
handling the recreation program. The Directors were advised that there
was an Evaluation Sheet to be completed weekly on each Aid ~o determine

if they are doing their job.
Next,Mr. Rogers introduced the following Aids: Tabitha Werner, Denise
DeFrance, Ruth Francese, Marie Snowden, Donise English, Danny Saroceno,
Michael Spero, Daiid Kaplan, Fred Mark Schubert and Barbara Montrose for
the Commissioners approval. Carried.
Mr. Rogers said he will advise Aids on Wednesday as to what field they
will work out of.
Mrs. Mary Schmalz wanted to know the proper procedure for requesting
advertisement for their program in Pop Warner. She was advised that it
would be placed on the Agenda for the June 27th meeting.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
