The minutes of the April 12, 1990 meeting were approved on a motion by Mr. Rider seconded by Mr. Miller with all in favor. A representative from the Wappingers Men~s Softball League attended and questioned the availability of softball fields. They noted that Castle Point field has been given to the Southern Dutchess Women~s League but to date they haven~t used it. If they are not intending to use the field the Men~s Softball league would. He also mentioned that the league noticed that soccer is not using the fields at Rockingham after b on Tuesday and Thursday and if that is the case would it be possible fm- them to use these fields. Mr. Reimer will check on the status of the Women~s League and Mr. Ridel- wi 11 check wi th the soccer people abc,ut the Tuesday and Thursday use. Another possibility of obtaining fields for the Men~s League would be to move the Women to Quiet Acres once the field has been rolled and fixed. The men feel that the field is too short with the basketball court there but maybe it wouldn~t be for the women. We will get back with the Men~s league once everyone has been cClntacted and arrangements made.
