Resolution Awarding Bid for Port-A-John Rentals for Various Town of Wappinger Parks
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on Apri18,
2013.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara Gutzler, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by
Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Recreation Department desires to rent Port-a-Johns
for the 2013 season for various parks in the Town of Wappinger; and
WHEREAS, advertisements for bids for Port-a-Johns were duly published and the
following bids were received:
Company Total
Porta-Potty $7,055.00 per season
Herring Sanitation $5,580.00 per season
Big Top Portable Toilets, Inc. $5,271.00 per season
WHEREAS, by memo dated March 20, 2013, Recreation Director, Mark Price, has
reported that the lowest responsible bidder is Big Top Portable Toilets, Inc. with its principal
office located at 88 Grove Street, Cairo, New York 12413, in the amount of $5,271.00 for the
2013 season, a copy of which is affixed hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set
forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby awards the bid for the rental of Port-a-Johns for the
various Town of Wappinger parks to Big Top Portable Toilets, Inc. in the amount
of $5,271.00 for the 2013 season.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
