Resolution Waiving the Monthly Rental Expense for the Dutchess County Sports Museum
at Carnwath
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on February
11th, 2008.
The meeting was called to order by Christopher Colsey, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Christopher J. Colsey
Councilmembers - William H. Beale
Vincent F. Bettina (Arrived at 7:15 PM)
Maureen McCarthy
Joseph P. Paoloni
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by
Councilwoman McCarthy.
WHEREAS, the Dutchess County Sports Museum has been negatively impacted due to
restricted access due to unsafe conditions at the Carnwath site; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger is addressing the accessibility to the site to mitigate
prolonged hardship.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger hereby authorizes
the waiver of the January and February 2008 site rental payment for the Dutchess County Sports
Museum.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
